  • Latest rumor on a demotion from Pittsburgh with the new faces from Edmonton arriving is Lyle Odelein. Not sure if he'd report or not.
  • Word out of Wilkes-Barre is that Chris Kelleher had surgery on his abdominal injury and will be out for a few weeks.
  • Andy Chiodo and Daniel Carcillo are expected to spend the weekend in Wheeling before being recalled in time for the Penguins games against Bridgeport and Rochester on February 3rd and 4th.
  • The Pittsburgh Penguins dropped their game 4-3 in a shootout on Long Island yesterday. Former Bridgeport Sound Tigers goaltender Wade Dubielewicz stopped all three shots he faced in the shootout to pick up the win.
  • Penguins scratches were Matt Murley (shoulder), Andre Roy (hand), Jocelyn Thibault (hip), Ryan VandenBussche (neck), Lyle Odelein (healthy) and Konstantin Koltsov (healthy).
